Business DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST 

ZG Subpoena Solutions (ZGSS) is a closely-knit team of dedicated members who work collaboratively to design, implement, and manage customized solutions for repetitive business processes, such as legal process compliance and data access requests. We are hired by our clients to tackle these critically important, non-revenue-generating work so they can focus on providing their customers with outstanding products and services. While you would recognize the names of our clients, you probably have not heard of ZGSS. That’s fine with us; ZGSS exists to help those other businesses succeed and make their workplaces more joyful.

Our business has expanded rapidly over the past few years, and we are hungry to capitalize on our position and continue our growth. We are looking for a driven and self-motivated person to help develop new business opportunities and grow existing relationships. This team member will take the lead in the following areas, reporting directly to the Managing Director:

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating and implementing our overall marketing strategies
  • Developing and executing marketing campaigns, including content creation, website updates, and social media
  • Monitoring and evaluating industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management to discuss strategy
  • Identifying new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets
  • Generating new leads, identifying and contacting decision-makers, and screening potential business opportunities
  • Developing proposals and presentations to land prospective clients
  • Supporting deal structure and pricing with business value analysis
  • Negotiating prices for proactive bids and proposals
  • Considering and analyzing new venture opportunities and integration
  • Maintaining professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations

Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years experience and a successful track record in B2B marketing, sales and negotiation
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Working experience with sales techniques
  • Exhibit superior attention to detail and pride in high quality work
  • Proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
 
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications with strong academic credentials
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 depending on experience, plus commissions on new business generated
Location: Chicago area preferred
Travel: Some travel to other office locations and to meet with current and prospective clients as necessary and when deemed safe
